Mentor Program
The Mentor Program was launched in May 2012, and the current chair is Course Director Ronald Diltz II. This program was created as a way to help DC students connect with one another outside of the classroom environment.
Eligibility
- Completed a minimum of 9 Academic months in the DCBS Program
- Provide a minimum of 1 reference from the previous Course Director
- Have excellent communication skills
- Good Academic standing
- Approved by Financial Aid
- Approved by Advising
Responsibilities
- Guide students with general questions about degree requirements, classes, and University procedures
- Respond to emails and other correspondence within 3 business days
- Share ideas and strategies for academic success
- Be available for peer reviews and critiques
- Motivate fellow classmates
- Support fellow classmates
