Mentor Program

The Mentor Program was launched in May 2012, and the current chair is Course Director Ronald Diltz II. This program was created as a way to help DC students connect with one another outside of the classroom environment.

Eligibility

• Completed a minimum of 9 Academic months in the DCBS Program
• Provide a minimum of 1 reference from the previous Course Director
• Have excellent communication skills
• Good Academic standing
• Approved by Financial Aid
• Approved by Advising

Responsibilities

• Guide students with general questions about degree requirements, classes, and University procedures
• Respond to emails and other correspondence within 3 business days
• Share ideas and strategies for academic success
• Be available for peer reviews and critiques
• Motivate fellow classmates
• Support fellow classmates
