The DC Buzz this month will be hosted by Course Director Ronald Diltz II and Lab Specialist Alan Harris. Ronald and Alan will be interviewing DC Alumni Carl Crosby, Shaun Jones, and Chris Skomra.

Carl Crosby boasts over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, having been involved in a diverse range of projects, including movies, commercials, music videos, concerts, and business conferences. As a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Carl is the driving force behind Desideratum Media. Carl’s hands-on experience spans from ground-up positions like grip, cameraman, editor, folio, and sound technician to executive management roles.
Shaun L. Jones Sr. is a professional cinematographer with several years of experience. His body of work includes filming and directing music videos, YouTube and Network shows, Documentaries, promotional videos, audition videos, photography, and short stories/movies. Shaun is currently filming a reality show called. “Youth and Teens on the Move” as well as working on a show pilot soon to be presented to Netflix and HBO, to name a few. Shaun Sr. has filmed the stand-up acts of noted comedians such as Tommy Davidson and Michael Blackson.
Chris Skomra is a Film and Video Producer servicing the Midwest. He has been Freelancing for over ten years in the film and video industry while collaborating with multiple production studios and corporate brands. Chris is the Founder of Playground Pictures, an Ohio-based production company. He focuses on building culture through media and exploring new technologies while inspiring the next generation of creative professionals.
