We will be talking to Dustin Harrison-Atlas Director of New Chefs on the Block about the process of making and distributing a documentary feature.
Dustin Harrison-Atlas is an award-winning producer, director, and cinematographer. He has worked in the creative media industry for more than 15 years. His films have aired on PBS, won audience favorite awards at international films festivals and received distribution deals with Amazon and Hulu. In 2017, National Geographic Wild hired Dustin to be a director of photography on the docu-series “Trackers.”
A life-long storyteller, Dustin worked for Discovery Communications in both post-production and development from 2005 to 2007. During his years at Discovery, he was involved in everything from Planet Earth and MythBusters to Dirty Jobs and Deadliest Catch. In 2008, Dustin returned to graduate school and in 2010 received the high honor of Graduating with Distinction from American University’s School of Communication with an MFA in film and electronic media. In 2011, Dustin was featured by LinkTV as a “Rising star in documentary filmmaking.”
